Three Day Adventure Information

Three Day Adventure running twice a week

FROM 2PM SUNDAY TO 10AM WEDNESDAY

AND.. 2PM THURSDAY TO 10 AM SUNDAY

We are allowing different groups and individuals to share booking dates. This will not longer be run as a private tour. All bookings will be shared. To secure a private booking, you must have at least 4 participants in your group.

Three Day Adventure Package

This package is a BYO horse self guided package, that is the best opportunity to explore the station. The package includes a one night stay in the Cook Shop and 2 nights in the Basin Hut. All of your luggage and gear will be taken to the hut for you. So that you and your horse can enjoy the day without the extra baggage. All the details are below.  Day 1

 2pm – 6 pm Arrival 

·      Settle in a Blue Mountain – go for ride to the Totara Hut or swim in the river

·      Stay at the Cook Shop for the night

·      Horses stay in the yards outside the Cook Shop

Day 2 

·      Start the ride through the Edith Track 

·      Ride is 20km with one steep climb out 

·      Arrive at the Basin Creek Hut for the night

(All of your belonging, food, horse gear will be taken to the hut for you and will be waiting for you when you arrive)

Day 3  

·      Ride one of the many tracks that are round the Basin Hut 

(Basin Hut Loop 8km, The Orari River Track, The Andrew’s Hut Loop or The Hat Loop 25km)

·      Stay at the Basin Hut that night

Day 4

Head home by 10am

·      Ride the 8km home up the Orari River

·      All you gear will be collected at 9am and brought home for you.
